Description

This app is an excellent digitised version of the famous book ‘Husnul Muslim’ called ‘Fortification of the Muslim’ in the English print.  This book specialises in the collection of authentic Du’aas from the Sunnah, collected by Sa’ed ibn ‘Ali ibn Wahf al-Qahtaani.

You can quickly an easily find the Du’aa you want, without much hassle, you can find the Arabic and english.

Room for improvement

For those who have the iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4th Gen, you wont be able to view the Arabic in Hi-Resolution, as it has not been updated for the retina display as of yet, but we hope the brothers make the extra effort to up the quality of this app with an update soon.

It would be nice if one could quickly cut and paste the Arabic, or share it via the many social networks or via email or SMS.

This app is very simple and does one job...Show the Haram in Makka Live. You cant get much better than that.  This basically takes a live stream which can be found on the internet, and streams it to your iOS device.  Nothing more than that.

Room for improvement

It’s a bit hard to criticise this app, as it does what it says on the tin, shows Makkah Live, but I would just say that it lacks a bit of stability.  When you press the ‘play’ button, it does not always work.  That may not be due to the app, as it could be due to the internet connection, but sometimes it is a bit annoying when one wants quick access.

Also, it used to be able to view in landscape, but since an update, it was removed. :-(

Description

This application is perfect for anyone who wishes to read the Qur’aan, copy, paste, search, listen to, learn, everything.  It recently was updated for retina display, which means the quality is unbeatable.  It has many features, and even allows for sharing of content via sms and other.

I would seriously advice anyone to purchase it, as it is well worth the money.

Room for improvement

There isn’t an iPad version, which would have been perfect for the extra screen size.

The verses of the Qur’aan and shown verse by verse, on each line, and not as it is displayed in a printed mus.haf.  It would be a nice feature to view it as it is written for those who wish to memorise.

Description

This application is one of the best of its kind.  It allows for full Arabic searching in the hadeeth, various search criterion, and most importantly, allows for cut and paste.  It works perfectly on the iPhone/iPod Touch, and also has be optimised to work on the larger screen on the iPad.  For anyone who often searches for hadeeth, this is definitely one you must pay for.  I would say, don’t worry about the price, you get what you pay for.

Room for improvement

The cut n paste is sometimes a bit unpredictable, but I’m not sure if that is to do with the app, or the OS.

It would be good if one could share comments made on hadeeth, or analyse the chain of narration.
