Arabic Studies

Our Arabic Study Programs

Every Muslim desires to understand the Qur’aan in the native language. This is a calling, that for many, seems out of reach. Each year we stand in praying during Ramadan wondering what the Imaam is reciting. How do we solve this problem? Where do we go? Where do I start?

From extensive experience in teaching Arabic for over 10 years, we have developed a unique curriculum to answer this very problem. Β We looked at the various methodologies in teaching Arabic. Β Some focused on simply explaining Grammar rules, while others focused on practicing and drilling phrases and sentences. Some aimed at delivering an understanding of the Qur’aan while others focused on developing conversational skills

We took the best of both methodologies and formed our very own curriculum, combining the grammar and morphology emphasis of the Madeenah University program and adapting it to our 4 Key Stages of study in the United Kingdom. We added features like topics related to life living in the UK, travel, seeking a job or education, writing CV’s or letters and much more. This is a holistic approach covering everything you need to know from learning the letters to studying poetry and Hadeeth.
