    Thumbs up Arabic Numbers Video

    Assalaamu alaikum

Here is the first part of last lesson. There are 10 Parts in total, only because youtube has a 10 minute limit (which is probably better, so that people could watch it in chunks rather than all together).

I've got lesson now, so I will have to upload the rest another time, but in shaa Allaah, by the end of saturday, they all should be uploaded.

The good thing about these lessons is that we went through all the numbers, from 1 up to 2 million, in one lesson.

Anyway, any questions, please ask here.

    Here is part 2

    Here is part 3

    here is part 4

    here is part 5

    Here is Part 6

    here is part 7

    here is part 8

    This is part 9

    This is the final instalment

I wanted to make this lesson available on the main screen, but I wanted one of you who have watched it to let me know what they thought and mention anything that needed corrected or needed adding?

    Wa`alaykum us-salaam

I thought I'd refine my numbers so I watched the first three parts. What you wrote at the top of the board is cut off at one point (in the second part) but I don't think you wrote anything more than طالب. Other than that, so far, it's a good lesson.

From a production aspect, ease off with the cheesy SFX and scrap the "Directed by Mu`awiyah Tucker" lol, I'm sure iMovie has some more "professional" effects! One last thing, maybe you could add transitions where you stop and start recording so the recording doesn't just "jump".

Anyway, I don't know if this was the sort of feedback you were looking for...

    Jazaakallaahu khairan for that

That is the kind of feedback I was looking for.

Firstly, with regards to the (directed by Mu'aawiyah Tucker) then that was automatic, and i didnt realise until after I had uploaded it (which it is not only any other part other than the final part). I did change it on my computer, but I wanted more feedback first before I re-upload anything.

As for the 'Theme', should I change the whole theme? If so, which one would you personally prefer?

    Aslmualikum,

Jazakallah Khair for posting the lesson, I was too much involved in the actual content of the lesson that I did not pay much notice to the effects and theme etc. having looked at it again, the theme seems like a comic book intro..

Does the video editing software have anything similar to 'Arabic old style' (classical stuff) theme that you can use.. It may be better suited. I also noticed on the summary at the end the numbers 1 -3 have space between them, whereas numbers 4 -7 have no spaces e.g 1) 2) 3) 4)5)6)7)

As for the homework I will try my best, to get it completed ( I think i need to view the videos more times to get a better understanding of the numbers)

    As-salaamu `alaykum

I'm not sure about the themes... I think you have a newer version of iMovie than me, hence more effects. If I come early enough, I'll check them tomorrow bi'idhnillaah!
