Can I post lines from the books asking/checking if I've got my i`raab correct here? Bare in mind, it might make the thread super long!?

    Today's Homework

Since the lesson is officially finished (by a few minutes lol), here's one answer. Izdād (ازداد) is on the wazn ifta`ala (افتعل).

    Poor Quality Dates

    أحشفا وسوء كيلة؟

Ok, I do remember this now after learning what حشف means. The proverb literally translates as "Do you [combine] poor quality dates and bad measure?" and it refers/is said to someone who combines two bad qualities or characteristics.

I should've added that the asl of the word is iztād (ازتاد) but the tā' is replcaed with a dāl in this case, since it is preceded by a zāy.
