أحشفا وسوء كيلة؟

Ok, I do remember this now after learning what حشف means. The proverb literally translates as "Do you [combine] poor quality dates and bad measure?" and it refers/is said to someone who combines two bad qualities or characteristics.




I should've added that the asl of the word is iztâd (ازتاد) but the tâ' is replcaed with a dâl in this case, since it is preceded by a zây.

It comes after the chapter on infa`ala (انفعل) but before the chapter on the wazn if`alla (افعلّ) lol.
