Key Concepts and Features Of Key Stage 4
Below are some main features of this course and how we will proceed to study it.
At this level, we will take a very critical stance towards the language whereby the student will be required to scrutinise sentences and phrases. This is important as it will form an important foundation of studying the Qur’an, Sunnah and Islamic text.
Mophology & Word Roots
Understanding the roots of words, how those roots affect their current meanings is crucial in understanding many verses of the Qur’aan or even Islamic concepts. This forms the second foundation of studding the Qur’aan, Sunnah and Islamic text.
Elegance & Delivery
A major part of this course will deal with the mode and method by which information is delivered in the Arabic Language. This is one of the most important subjects to study in the Arabic language in order to fully comprehend the miraculous nature of the Qur’aan. Only when you study ‘Balaaghah’ you application how the Qur’aan could not have come from any human being.
Poetry & Prose
A crucial part of any language study is adequate study of the literary form. As such, we will cover many classical and modern writings in order to study and understand the best of what the Arabs had to offer. As a product of such study, it would further demonstrate the difference between the writings of mankind and the Qur’aan.
This course will prepare any student to study in the Islamic university of Madeenah. It will cover the required level of Arabic needed to complete a degree in that University. Upon completion, not only will you be able to sit the final A-Level exam, but you will also receive a recognised letter of recommendation from our institute. In this letter of recommendation it will demonstrate that you’ve learnt the required level of Arabic to understand Arabic, and excelled beyond that in the study of various other relevant sciences, such as poetry, history, Quranic and Hadeeth studies, and more.
